The Chetak Screen Awards 2026 honored excellence in Hindi cinema and OTT releases from 2025, with Aditya Dhar’s film Dhurandhar emerging as the night’s biggest winner, securing 14 awards. The ceremony, held in Mumbai, celebrated standout performances and technical achievements across the industry.

Ranveer Singh took home the Best Actor award for his role in Dhurandhar, although Yami Gautam was recognized as Best Actress for her performance in Hakh. Aditya Dhar also won Best Director for Dhurandhar, cementing the film’s dominance at the awards.

Hombound, directed by Neeraj Ghaywan, was named Best Picture, with the honor presented by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and business magnate Nita Ambani.

Gulzar received the Best Lyricist award for the song “Ul Jhulul Ishq” from Gustaakh Ishq, praised for its poetic depth and emotional resonance.

The awards highlighted breakthrough talent, with Anit Patel named Best Breakthrough Female Actor for her debut performance. In choreography, the Late Night Dance Ensemble was honored posthumously for their contributions to the art form.

Fahim Abdulla won Best Background Vocalist for his soulful contribution to a film soundtrack, adding to the night’s celebration of versatile artistry behind the scenes.
