Former Hong Kong pageant queen Louise McIntosh has revealed her recent purchase of a luxury yacht, a seven-figure investment made during her tenure as a director at the Pok Oi Hospital.
The announcement comes amid her active involvement in Hong Kong’s sailing community, where she has competed in events such as the Hong Kong Island Race aboard the vessel named Wavelength.
McIntosh, who won the Miss Hong Kong title in 2015, has been a regular participant in sailing competitions organized by the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club, including the Alumni Cup regatta where she served as a mainsail trimmer for the Cambridge University alumni team.
Her recent acquisition highlights her continued passion for maritime activities, blending her public service role with personal interests in competitive sailing.
McIntosh’s involvement in sailing spans several years, with notable appearances in both local and international regattas, underscoring her dedication to the sport beyond her pageantry background.
As she balances her hospital directorship with competitive sailing, McIntosh remains a prominent figure in Hong Kong’s sporting circles, particularly within the yachting community.
