The Clermont Foot Tour’s third stage concluded Saturday in Montluçon, marking the first time the event has been hosted at that venue in its history.The tournament, co-organized with US Lignerolles Lavault Saint-Anne Prémilhat, saw a dramatic final upset as AS Domérat defeated the favored MYF squad in a penalty shootout after a 1-1 tie. The results of the stage determine which teams will advance to the grand final later this season at the Gabriel-Montpied stadium.
The Clermont Foot Tour’s third stage concluded Saturday, January 10, 2026, at the Montluçon sports hall, marking the first time the event has been held at the venue since its inception. Co-organized with US Lignerolles Lavault Saint-Anne Prémilhat, the day proved to be a memorable one for all involved.
A Dramatic Final

Throughout the day, the tournament’s top contenders lived up to expectations. MYF, widely considered a favorite for the overall victory, asserted its dominance, as did Montluçon Foot and AS Moulins, both displaying consistent and disciplined play.
The playoff rounds delivered a series of hard-fought matches. Groupement 2M enjoyed a strong run, ultimately falling just short of the final after a fiercely contested semi-final, before facing Montluçon Foot in the third-place match. Meanwhile, AS Moulins secured fifth place with a tense, closely fought victory over USLLP 1. In a stunning upset, AS Domérat, despite being third in their group, advanced to the semi-finals.
The final between Domérat and MYF lived up to the hype. After a back-and-forth battle, the teams remained tied at 1-1 as the clock expired, unable to break the deadlock. As was the case in the previous stage, the match went to a penalty shootout. Displaying greater composure and accuracy, AS Domérat emerged victorious, delivering a remarkable performance against the favored MYF squad.

With this impressive showing, AS Domérat and MYF have earned their spots in the grand final of the Clermont Foot Tour, which will be held at the end of the season at the Gabriel-Montpied stadium. This result sets the stage for a highly anticipated showdown between two of the tournament’s strongest teams.
