Banyuwangi, indonesia – A paternity suit seeking formal recognition from Indonesian singer and actress Denada Elizabeth Anggia Ayu Tambunan has reached a critical juncture, as mediation efforts concluded Thursday without a resolution. Despite the artistS legal counsel confirming Ressa Rizky Rossano as her son, a discrepancy exists between the acknowledged financial support and Ressa’s claims of limited parental contact, leading the case to move forward to a full hearing at the Banyuwangi District Court.

BANYUWANGI, Indonesia – Mediation in a paternity suit brought by Ressa Rizky Rossano, 24, against Indonesian singer and actress Denada Elizabeth Anggia Ayu Tambunan, ended without resolution on Thursday, January 29, 2026.

Denada did not appear at the proceedings at the Banyuwangi District Court, and was represented only by her legal counsel. With the artist’s absence, mediation has concluded, and the case will now move forward to a full hearing.

Following the session, Denada’s lawyer, Muhammad Iqbal, confirmed Ressa’s parentage.

“Yes, (Ressa) is indeed her son,” Iqbal stated.

Iqbal also revealed that Denada has consistently acknowledged Ressa as her child, providing financial support for his needs, including schooling and other necessities, and offering him maternal affection.

“Regarding the financial support, please direct that question to Ressa’s side,” he added.

However, this account sharply contrasts with Ressa’s previous statements, in which he claimed he has not experienced the same level of parental care.

Ressa told Kompas.com that his messages to Denada have consistently gone unanswered.

“She has never responded to any of my messages, not even once. You can check for yourself,” he said, displaying his message history on his phone, but declining to allow it to be documented.

The date for the next court hearing has not yet been set, with both parties awaiting notification from the Banyuwangi District Court.
