Despite the looming threat posed by Mephisto’s plans, it’s been surprising to see Sanctuary’s magic users haven’t yet discovered a way to summon the worst nightmare of all demons to their world. That’s about to change.
During a recent Diablo Spotlight showcase, it was confirmed that Diablo IV and Doom: The Dark Ages will be crossing over for a dedicated collaborative event, bringing cosmetic items and other rewards to the wider game.
Although the exact details of the collaboration haven’t been fully revealed, images shared by Windows Central’s Jennifer Young show that Doom Slayer cosmetics will be available, notably a fitting appear for the Barbarian class. Additional cosmetics, including a Mecha Dragon Serrat-themed mount and a Shield Saw shield cosmetic, will be accessible through the Event Reliquary and similar means.
Players will soon have the opportunity to acquire Doom-themed items to aid them in their fight against the demonic forces within Diablo IV.
