Television personality Dijora Petrikonyte graced the red carpet at the M.A.M.A. Awards in a stunning gown by VAMP fashion house, sharing a glimpse into motherhood and the challenges of balancing life in the public eye.
Petrikonyte, accompanied by her partner Andrius Jonaitis, told news portal Lrytas, “I am absolutely honored to wear such an elegant dress,” joking that the most important pre-event ritual is simply being on time.
The appearance comes five months after Petrikonyte and Jonaitis welcomed their second child, a son named Elijus, joining their 18-month-aged daughter, Eila. Following the birth, Petrikonyte intentionally stepped back from the spotlight, prioritizing her family life.
When asked about navigating parenthood, Petrikonyte shared, “It’s probably like it is for everyone. Notice warm moments, and hot moments, laughter and tears. But I consider we’re doing great. Every day they teach me and grow me, and teach me patience. There are no shortages of challenges every day,” she said with a smile.
The M.A.M.A. Awards are a significant event in the Lithuanian music scene, drawing a large crowd of the country’s elite. Petrikonyte’s attendance marks a return to public engagements as she continues to navigate the joys and demands of raising two young children.
