A fifth death has been reported at Walt Disney World in Florida in less than a month, according to authorities.
The Orange County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed to us that the latest death occurred November 8 at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort.
Few details surrounding the most recent incident have been released at this time.
This latest death follows a string of four others at the resort in recent weeks, two of which have been determined to be apparent suicides.
On October 14, a 31-year-old woman died by suicide at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
Just a week later, a man in his 60s passed away after experiencing a medical emergency at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground.
In late October, 28-year-old Matthew Cohn died by suicide after jumping from a height at the Contemporary Resort.
On November 2, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office reported that a woman in her 40s was transported to Celebration Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
