Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) announced robust financial performance alongside the finalization of its acquisition of Macquarie AirFinance Limited (MAF). The company reported a net profit of $102.2 million for the period, according to a recent filing.

The acquisition, valued at approximately $7 billion (25.7 billion AED), was approved by the DAE board and is expected to close in the second half of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals. This deal marks a significant expansion for DAE, positioning it as a major player in the aircraft leasing market.

Upon completion of the acquisition, DAE will boast a combined fleet of 1,029 owned, managed, and committed aircraft, serving 191 customers across 79 countries. The combined fleet will be comprised of approximately 70% narrowbody aircraft.

DAE anticipates the addition of 37 new airline customers as a result of the transaction, extending its reach into seven new countries. The company highlighted the strategic importance of this expansion, signaling a commitment to growth within the global aviation sector.

In a separate announcement, DAE reported a substantial increase in profitability alongside the completion of the MAF acquisition. This performance underscores investor confidence in the aviation industry’s recovery and DAE’s position within it.
