The decision, made following a December 1, 2025, meeting of the Social Housing and Mortgage Finance Fund, extends favorable interest rates ranging from 3% to 8% under existing Central Bank of Egypt initiatives. According to the cabinet’s announcement, the program will be available to both previously submitted applications and new applicants, mirroring the benefits offered to those participating in the “Housing for All Egyptians” programs 1, 2, and 3. The initiative is capped at 600 housing units annually.
