The versatile player, who primarily features as a winger, has signed a four-year deal and expressed excitement about joining a club with a clear vision for the future.
22-year-old Elias Mohammad, who prefers to play as a winger but is also capable of playing forward, represented ADO Den Haag in the Dutch second division earlier this year. Now, he’s signed a four-year deal with Falkenbergs FF.
Falkenbergs FF has secured the services of Elias Mohammad, a 22-year-old attacker who brings experience from the Dutch second tier. Mohammad previously played for ADO Den Haag, joining the club in August of last year and making ten appearances before departing after one season.
Prior to his time in the Netherlands, Mohammad excelled for Hammarby TFF in Ettan Norra, where he tallied seven goals and seven assists in 39 matches during the 2023-2024 campaign. Now, he’s embarking on a new chapter with a four-year contract at Falkenbergs FF.
“It feels really good to come to FFF,” said Mohammad. “It’s a professional organization that has a clear vision for the club and works hard to achieve it, which creates a sense of security for players and clarity about what’s expected.”
While versatile enough to play as a forward, Mohammad believes his best position is on the left wing, with the ability to feature on either flank.
“I would describe myself as an offensive and technical player with pace and good vision,” Mohammad explained. “I’m also a hard-working player. I think my greatest strength is my speed. I hope to contribute with my creative play, create chances, and play football that’s fun to watch. During my time at the club, I want to continue to develop day by day and show what I’m capable of.”
Andreas Jankevics, Falkenbergs FF’s sporting director, expressed his delight in welcoming Mohammad as the club’s second new signing for the upcoming season.
“Elias comes from a period as a professional abroad that was a tough experience for him as a young individual. We believe our environment is a good fit for Elias to get a fresh start in his career,” Jankevics stated. “He’s a player who has come onto our radar and we’ve received very positive feedback about him. Our positive impression of him was reinforced when he visited and familiarized himself with our environment. Elias is a skilled offensive player who we hope will add a lot to the team with his special qualities.”
Falkenbergs FF enjoyed a successful return to elite football, finishing fifth in the league last season. Mohammad is optimistic about the club’s chances of building on that success in 2026.
“I think the club can have another strong season. It feels like we have a good squad. What I’m most looking forward to next season is running out onto the pitch in the FFF jersey in front of the fans and getting the season started,” he said.
Mohammad has also been impressed with Falkenberg as a city. “I’ve been around looking at the city. It seems like a cozy town and the people who live here seem very supportive and friendly,” the winger added.
Welcome to the club, Elias!
