The Latvian music industry’s GAMMA Awards will recognize winners in at least 30 categories spanning diverse genres and both onstage and behind-the-scenes professionals.
A jury of over 150 individuals – including musicians, industry professionals, and music enthusiasts – will evaluate each artist’s work from December 1, 2024, to December 31, 2025, using carefully developed qualitative criteria. A five-member GAMMA jury council oversaw the objectivity of the evaluation process.
Awards will be presented in the following categories: Year’s Solo Artist, Year’s Solo Female Artist, Year’s Group/Collective, Year’s New Artist/Group, Year’s Hit, Year’s Radio Hit, Year’s Most Streamed Song, Year’s Artist in the Genre – Pop, Rock, Hip-Hop, Electronic Dance Music, Jazz/Funk, Folk Music, Schlager/Country, Alternative, Indie, Cross-Genre, Instrumental, Metal Music, Year’s Live Performance/Concert, and Year’s Concert Venue.
“Tautumeitas,” “Medību lauki,” “Kautkaili,” Deniss, and others will seize the stage and deliver musical surprises during the evening’s ceremony.
