Nvidia Addresses Driver Issues with Multiple Updates

Nvidia has released a series of GeForce Game Ready drivers in recent days, addressing performance concerns and stability issues impacting users. The updates come as the company continues to refine its software for the latest games and graphics cards, a crucial element in delivering optimal experiences for PC gamers.

Most recently, on March 5, 2026, Nvidia issued a hotfix with driver version 595.76. Prior to that, driver 595.71 was released, but some players of Resident Evil Requiem continued to report performance problems even after installing the update.

The company previously pulled driver 595.59 after reports surfaced that fans on some graphics cards were ceasing to operate. Nvidia responded quickly to address the issue, highlighting the importance of community feedback in the driver development process.

In a separate update, Nvidia implemented voltage reductions on RTX GPUs with the latest driver release. While intended to improve efficiency, this change has resulted in lower performance in some scenarios. This adjustment underscores the complex balancing act Nvidia faces in optimizing its hardware and software for a wide range of configurations.

GeForce RTX graphics cards, powered by technologies like ray tracing and AI, remain at the forefront of PC gaming and content creation. Nvidia’s RTX platform is designed to deliver realistic graphics and fast performance, with features like DLSS Multi Frame Generation enhancing image quality and frame rates. The RTX 5090 is currently the most powerful card in Nvidia’s series, while the RTX 5060 Ti offers a more affordable option for many users, according to PCMag’s testing.

Users can find the latest GeForce Game Ready drivers and more information on compatible graphics cards on Amazon and the Nvidia website.
