Sony is bolstering its PlayStation Plus offerings this month with a significant lineup of new titles, headlined by the addition of Grand theft Auto V. The move comes as the gaming giant continues to compete for subscribers in a crowded market and builds anticipation for the next grand Theft Auto installment slated for 2025.The November update includes a diverse range of games across multiple genres, alongside a classic remastered title for Deluxe subscribers.

PlayStation has significantly bolstered its PS Plus Extra and Deluxe game libraries with the addition of Grand Theft Auto 5, alongside several other new titles including Pacific Drive and Still Wakes the Deep.

The company confirmed that Grand Theft Auto 5, a cornerstone of the open-world action genre, will be available to subscribers of PS Plus Extra and Deluxe starting November 18. This addition arrives as anticipation builds for the next installment in the Grand Theft Auto series, expected in 2025. The game allows players to explore Los Santos and experience the interwoven stories of Franklin, Michael, and Trevor.

The inclusion of a blockbuster title like GTA 5 underscores PlayStation’s strategy to attract and retain subscribers with a diverse and compelling game catalog.
Beyond Grand Theft Auto 5, the November update brings a range of new games catering to different player preferences:
  • Pacific Drive (PS5): A first-person survival adventure set in the Pacific Northwest.
  • Still Wakes the Deep (PS5): A narrative horror experience taking place on an oil rig.
  • Insurgency: Sandstorm (PS4 and PS5): A tactical, multiplayer first-person shooter.
  • The Talos Principle 2 (PS5): A philosophical puzzle game.
  • Monster Jam Showdown and MotoGP 25: Racing and action titles.
  • Thank Goodness You’re Here!: A British-style platformer with a comedic twist.
PS Plus Deluxe subscribers will also gain access to a classic title: Tomb Raider: Anniversary, a remastered version of the original Lara Croft adventure, optimized for modern consoles. These additions demonstrate PlayStation’s commitment to providing a mix of both new releases and beloved classics within its subscription service.
