Requirements

Applicants will need a mobile phone running Android 8.0 or a later version, a valid email address, and a mobile phone number.

To begin the digital account opening process, individuals must have the following documents readily available:

  • A valid form of identification.
  • A current Registro de Información Fiscal (RIF) – Tax Registration Number.

How to Apply

  • Download the BDVApp to your mobile device.
  • Select the “Open an Account with BDV” option and scan the required documents.
  • Complete the personal information fields and register your mobile phone number.
  • Create a username and password. Upon completion, you will be a BDV customer.

Following account opening, customers have 30 days to update their information and authenticate their fingerprint via BiopagoBDV devices or at a Banco de Venezuela branch.

Existing Banco de Venezuela customers can easily open a new account in the national currency by navigating to Services > Open Account in National Currency within the BDVApp.
