Rockstar Games is doubling down on its wildly popular Grand Theft Auto Online with a new update focused on expanding the game’s luxury adn creative elements. Launching December 10 across multiple platforms, “A Safehouse in the Hills” introduces a suite of high-end properties and customization options alongside a player-driven mission creation tool. The update arrives as GTA Online continues to be a major revenue stream for Take-Two Interactive, the game’s parent company, and demonstrates a commitment to evolving the online experience nearly eleven years after its initial release.
Rockstar Games is set to significantly expand the luxury lifestyle options within GTA Online with a major new update, “A Safehouse in the Hills,” launching on December 10 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. The update introduces high-end properties, new luxury vehicles, and a host of new missions, including a player-created mission builder.
Players can acquire these exclusive properties through Prix Luxury Real Estate. Each mansion boasts expansive indoor and outdoor spaces, a private salon, pet facilities, a trophy room, and a dedicated vehicle showcase podium. The addition reflects the ongoing trend of immersive, detailed virtual environments in gaming.
Beyond aesthetics, the update focuses on enhancing in-game business efficiency. A new AI-powered virtual assistant will accelerate scheme production, while a private security team of mercenaries provides on-demand protection.
New Missions and Mission Creator
A new campaign will challenge players to disrupt the development of a mass surveillance network, offering a storyline centered around action and espionage. The update also introduces a powerful new tool: the Mission Creator, allowing players to design and publish their own custom missions. Users can define objectives, populate scenarios with actors, and adjust gameplay mechanics to create unique experiences within Los Santos.
New Vehicles and GTA+ Benefits
The update will also feature a new lineup of high-performance vehicles, including drift variants, law enforcement vehicles, and other top-tier models. GTA+ members will receive a week of early access to the Vapid FMJ MK V, along with exclusive benefits when purchasing a mansion.
Players will also gain a new option within the Vinewood Club app to remotely manage staff assigned to certain schemes.
Exclusive Rewards and Bonuses
Players who complete all three Ad Prompts by December 7 will become Gold VIPs, receiving GTA$3,000,000, a GTA$2,000,000 discount on properties from Prix Luxury Real Estate, and a Black Rockstar Hoodie for their character.
Black VIPs who log in by Sunday, December 7, will also receive additional rewards, including the Übermacht Revolter sports car. These incentives demonstrate Rockstar Games’ continued efforts to reward player loyalty and engagement.
