Honor has announced a new tablet poised to compete with leading devices currently on the market, with a global launch expected soon.
The Honor MagicPad4 features a durable build comprised of plastic, metal, and scratch-resistant glass. Its dimensions are 273.4 x 178.8 x 4.8 mm, and it weighs 450 grams. The tablet also includes a smart stylus for writing and drawing, as well as an optional external keyboard.
The device boasts a 12.3-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 3000 pixels, a refresh rate of up to 165Hz, a pixel density of approximately 299 pixels per inch, and a peak brightness of 2400 nits. This high-performance display aims to deliver a premium viewing experience for both productivity and entertainment.
Powering the MagicPad4 is the Android-16 operating system with the MagicOS 10 interface. It’s equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, built on a 3nm process, and the Adreno 829 graphics processor. The tablet offers configurations with 12GB or 16GB of RAM, and internal storage options of 256GB or 512GB.
The rear camera system features a 13-megapixel sensor capable of recording 4K video and is enhanced with artificial intelligence technologies. The front-facing camera has a resolution of 9 megapixels and an aperture of f/2.2.
Honor has also integrated eight high-performance speakers, Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity, a USB Type-C 3.2 port, and a 10100 mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. The battery also supports 5W reverse charging for other mobile devices.
