Huawei Expands Smartwatch and Tablet Lineup with New Releases
Huawei is bolstering its wearable and tablet offerings with a series of new product announcements. The company revealed pricing for the Watch D2, capable of measuring blood pressure, and announced the upcoming May release of the Watch Fit 5 series. Huawei unveiled the MatePad Pro Max at a launch event in Bangkok on May 7, 2026.
The Huawei Watch D2 is now available with new pricing advantages, according to recent announcements. The Watch Fit 5 series is slated for release in May, as reported by Anadolu Agency. The Turkish pricing and release date for the Watch Fit 5 series have also been disclosed by DonanımHaber.
The Watch Fit 5 series boasts a sleek and lightweight design and includes sleep analysis capabilities, as highlighted by Tamindir. Alongside the smartwatch updates, Huawei showcased the MatePad Pro Max at a launch event in Bangkok. Alparslan Diyarı reported that this marks the first public appearance of the device. The MatePad Pro Max is expected to offer enhanced features and performance, catering to users seeking a premium tablet experience.
Huawei’s revenue for 2024 reached CN¥862.1 billion (US$118.1 billion), with an operating income of CN¥79.3 billion (US$10.8 billion) and a net income of CN¥62.5 billion (US$8.5 billion).
