Vivo Launches T5 Series in Indonesia with Large-Capacity Batteries
Vivo has introduced its T5 series of smartphones in Indonesia, highlighting models with substantial battery capacities and advanced processors. The launch includes the T5 Pro 5G and the T5x 5G, catering to a range of user needs with a focus on performance and extended usage times.
The vivo T5 Pro 5G features a 9020 mAh battery with 90W FlashCharge capability, designed for prolonged use without frequent recharging. The device is powered by a Snapdragon® 7s Gen 4 Processor and boasts a 144 Hz 1.5K AMOLED display. Vivo emphasizes the phone’s sleek design, with a thickness of 8.25 mm and a weight of 213g. The T5 Pro 5G too includes a 50 MP Sony IMX882 OIS Camera.
According to the company, the 9020 mAh battery allows for approximately 37 hours of YouTube video playback, 90 hours of music playback, and 15 days of standby time. The battery utilizes 4th-Gen Silicon Anode Technology, aiming for long-term reliability and health, with an estimated lifespan of 5 years.
The T5x 5G, also released, is equipped with a 7200 mAh battery and a MediaTek Dimensity 7400-Turbo 5G processor. It features a 50 MP Sony ultra HD imaging system and is designed with IP68 and IP69+ dust and water resistance. The T5x 5G supports front and rear 4K video recording.
Both the T5 Pro 5G and T5x 5G run on OriginOS 6.0, based on Android 16. The T5 Pro 5G was released on April 21, 2026, while the release date for the T5x 5G was not immediately specified. The T5 Pro 5G is available with 128GB or 256GB of storage. This launch signals a continued trend of manufacturers prioritizing battery life and processing power in the mid-range smartphone market.
