Hyundai has begun offering its updated Ioniq 6 electric sedan in Hungary, the automaker announced this week. The vehicle, initially unveiled in 2022, has undergone a refresh and is now available in a range of configurations to suit different driver needs and budgets.
The streamlined, split-headlight design of the South Korean vehicle starts at 15.5 million Hungarian Forint. This base price secures a rear-wheel drive model with a 63 kWh battery, delivering 170 horsepower and a range of 521 kilometers. Hyundai’s move comes as demand for electric vehicles continues to grow across Europe, with manufacturers vying for market share.
A higher trim level, priced at 18.8 million Forint, offers a rear-wheel drive version with an 84 kWh battery and an extended range of up to 680 kilometers, boasting 229 horsepower. For drivers seeking more performance, a base model with all-wheel drive, the same 84 kWh battery, and a range of 650 kilometers is available for 20.1 million Forint.
The sportier N-Line trim, featuring 325 horsepower, carries a starting price of 21.3 million Forint. The company has not yet announced pricing for the high-performance Ioniq 6 N, which delivers a substantial 650 horsepower and was previously detailed in a comprehensive review.
