Three new names-Otto Toto sugiri, Marina Budiman, and the Wijono & Hermanto Tanoko Family-have ascended into the top 10, displacing established billionaires and signaling changes within the Indonesian economy. The newcomers’ rise reflects fortunes built in the technology and manufacturing sectors, offering a fresh look at the country’s most prosperous individuals.
Forbes has released its list of the 10 wealthiest individuals in Indonesia, revealing a shift in the ranks as several new faces enter the top tier.
According to data from Forbes, as of Saturday, December 13, 2025, three newcomers have seen their fortunes rise, displacing established figures on the list of Indonesia’s richest. These individuals are Otto Toto Sugiri, Marina Budiman, and the Wijono & Hermanto Tanoko Family.
Otto Toto Sugiri

Otto Toto Sugiri, often referred to as Indonesia’s ‘Bill Gates,’ ranks sixth with a net worth of US$ 11.3 billion, equivalent to Rp 187.58 trillion (based on an exchange rate of Rp 16,600). Forbes data indicates an increase from US$ 7 billion at the beginning of 2025 and US$ 1.8 billion in 2024.

The 72-year-old businessman is the founder and CEO of PT DCI Indonesia Tbk, a technology company he established with partners in 2011. DCI Indonesia has become a key player in the country’s growing data center market.
Marina Budiman
The second newcomer to the list is Marina Budiman, a colleague of Toto Sugiri, who holds the eighth position with a fortune of US$ 8.2 billion, or Rp 136.12 trillion. Her wealth has increased from US$ 1 billion the previous year.
Budiman is also a co-founder of DCI Indonesia and currently serves as President Commissioner of PT DCI Indonesia Tbk. She has collaborated with Toto Sugiri since 1985, beginning at Bank Bali.
Both Toto and Marina only entered the top 10 list of Indonesian billionaires in 2025.
Keluarga Wijono & Hermanto Tanoko
Returning to the list after a period of absence is the Wijono & Hermanto Tanoko family, with a recorded net worth of US$ 8.1 billion, equivalent to Rp 134.46 trillion.
The family ranks ninth, a position gained after their wealth increased from US$ 3.3 billion the previous year.
They are the owners of PT Avia Avian Tbk (AVIA), Indonesia’s second-largest paint manufacturer. The company was founded in 1978 by their father, Soetikno Tanoko.
The Wijono & Hermanto Tanoko family previously appeared on the list of Indonesia’s 10 wealthiest individuals, holding the eighth position in May 2022 with a fortune of US$ 3.1 billion.
Departing Billionaires
Two individuals have fallen off the list compared to Forbes’ rankings from the same period in the past two years: Agoes Projosasmito and Dewi Kam, according to detikcom.
Dewi Kam and Agoes Projosasmito had consistently appeared in the top 10 for the past two years, but have now been replaced by Otto Toto Sugiri, Marina Budiman, and the Wijono & Hermanto Tanoko Family.
Agoes Projosasmito
Agoes Projosasmito is the Commissioner of Amman Mineral International, one of Indonesia’s largest copper and gold mining companies. He also serves as the Director of Bumi Resources Minerals.
In the newly released Forbes list, he now ranks 13th, with a net worth of US$ 5 billion, or Rp 83 trillion (based on an exchange rate of Rp 16,600).
His wealth has decreased compared to 2024 and 2023. In December 2024, he was ranked seventh with a fortune of US$ 7 billion, and in December 2023, he held the eighth position with US$ 5.4 billion.
Dewi Kam
For the past two years, Dewi Kam was the sole woman to appear on the list of Indonesia’s 10 wealthiest individuals. However, the December 2025 Forbes data now shows Marina Budiman taking her place.
Kam now ranks 17th on the list, with a net worth of US$ 4.3 billion, or Rp 71.3 trillion (based on an exchange rate of Rp 16,600).
Compared to December 2023, Dewi Kam was ranked 10th with a net worth of US$ 4.45 billion. In December 2024, she also held the same position, with her wealth estimated at US$ 4.8 billion.
