Eldelic, an independent game developer, has announced the March 20, 2026 release date for its debut title, Inky Blinky Bob, on PC via Steam. The game blends surreal horror, absurdist humor, and aerial combat into a unique action-adventure experience.

Players will take on the role of a detective investigating strange signals emanating from a cluster of isolated islands controlled by the mysterious biotechnology organization, Quantum Corp. What begins as a routine investigation quickly spirals into a violent and unsettling mystery. Throughout the adventure, players will encounter the remnants of failed experiments, mutated creatures, and the game’s signature antagonist: Inky Blinky Bob, a massive, flying octopus-shaped airship.

Inky Blinky Bob features diverse environments, ranging from storm-swept coastlines to shadowy underground laboratories. Players will engage in ground combat and undertake story-driven quests from a cast of eccentric NPCs. The game also requires players to pilot heavily armed airships to gather resources and prepare for a final aerial showdown with the colossal creature. Materials collected during exploration can be used to upgrade both personal weaponry and airship equipment.

“When creating Inky Blinky Bob, we aimed to create an experience that felt like Monty Python crashing into a Lovecraftian nightmare,” said Miroslav Ilić, CEO of Eldelic Games. “The game is unsettling, explosive, and deliberately absurd, blending disturbing imagery with unexpected moments of humor.”

The game’s setting is primarily nocturnal, designed to create a sense of dread, but employs a deliberately stylized, non-realistic visual approach. Exaggerated character designs, surreal skies, and distorted environments combine with dark humor to offset the horror elements, giving the game a distinctive aesthetic. This approach reflects a growing trend in indie game development towards unique visual styles that prioritize artistic expression.
