Nearly 100 cyclists competing in 50 teams tackled a challenging course at the inaugural Innova Flow Race in El Puerto de Santa María, Spain, on Sunday. The event, organized by Club Deportivo Innova Bike, tested riders’ endurance and teamwork over two laps of a demanding 17-kilometer circuit with approximately 350 meters of elevation gain per lap.
The race required constant coordination, as all team members had to complete the course together. Staggered start times, with teams launching every 90 seconds, ensured a smooth and safe competition across the Cadete, Junior, Sub-23, Élite, and Máster categories.
Nicolás Morales and Pablo García, riding for Rulecycling Mcviman Evaria, claimed the top spot in the men’s overall standings with a strong performance. Jorge López and Raúl Mena, representing Symisur Centauro Bikes, finished second, while Juan José Conejo of Culmar Pro Team and Ismael Sánchez from Conil Racing Team shared third place.
In the mixed pairs category, Ana Belén Báñez and José Antonio González of Expobikes Team secured victory. Cristina Delgado and Carlos Delgado, competing for Ampiferco Bike, took second, and Cristina Barberán and Fernando Caro of Symisur Centauro Bikes rounded out the podium in third.
