Dramatic footage released Monday, March 2, 2026, shows an Israeli fighter pilot evading an Iranian surface-to-air missile during an attack on Tehran. The incident underscores the escalating tensions between the two nations.
The Israeli Air Force shared the video on X, stating, “There is another launch, which diverts from us, rising above the clouds. Special documentation: A fighter pilot who attacked in Tehran evades an Iranian missile launched in his direction.”
According to the Israeli Air Force, more than 1,000 combat missions have been flown over Iranian airspace to date.
The Air Force, operating under the direction of the Intelligence Directorate, completed strikes against “dozens of headquarters of the Iranian terrorist regime in the heart of Tehran,” according to a statement. The attacks targeted agencies responsible for suppressing protests through violence and the detention of civilians.
“Attacking these bases exacerbates the damage to the regime’s repressive capabilities,” the statement continued.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) also struck more than ten headquarters of the Iranian Intelligence Ministry and the headquarters of the Quds Force. “The attacks were aimed at headquarters where Military Intelligence identified activity of regime soldiers,” officials said.
In addition to these targets, the Air Force continued to strike ground-to-ground missile launchers, sites used to produce weapons for Iranian forces, and other facilities belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
The IDF confirmed it will continue to damage the structures and operatives of the regime wherever they operate, stating, “The attack carried out exacerbates the damage to the Iranian terrorist regime.”
