“Always Just Like a Princess”… IVE Shows a New Side with ‘REVIVE+’

Korean girl group IVE is captivating fans with a fresh sound and a desire to keep audiences guessing, as revealed during a media showcase on February 23, 2026. The group celebrated the release of their second full-length album, ‘REVIVE+’, at the Yes24 Live Hall in Seoul.

The album features a total of 12 tracks, including the double title tracks “BLACKHOLE” and “BANG BANG,” alongside “Hide and Seek (Hush),” “Malicious Code (Stuck In Your Head),” “Fireworks,” “HOT COFFEE,” and solo tracks from each member. IVE member Liz contributed the track “Unreal,” although other members also showcased their individual artistry.

“I want to be known as an artist that makes people wonder what will come next,” said Liz. “We’ve tried some new things that are a bit different from our usual ‘princess’ image and a lot of people have loved it. We plan to continue experimenting, so I hope people will stay curious about what we do next.”

The title track, “BLACKHOLE,” is described as a shuffle-based track with a cinematic atmosphere reminiscent of “Interstellar.” The song aims to musically represent a world where destruction and creation coexist.

IVE member An Yujin described the album’s title, ‘Revive,’ as meaning “reignition,” explaining that it embodies the group’s ambition to expand the reach of their collective energy. This release comes as IVE continues to solidify its position as a leading force in K-pop, demonstrating a willingness to evolve and challenge expectations.

Earlier in the year, members Jang Won-young and Liz participated in the songwriting process for IVE’s fourth mini-album, ‘IVE SECRET,’ further showcasing the group’s creative input. Jang Won-young contributed to the lyrics of the title track “XOXZ,” while Liz penned lyrics for the song “Midnight Kiss.”
