Belgian heating and cooling specialist Jaga has unveiled a new hybrid convector designed for both heating and cooling in modern buildings. The Vertilina Hybrid combines low-temperature heating with non-condensing cooling in a single system, targeting renovation and new construction projects where space is limited.
The device, manufactured entirely in Belgium, builds on Jaga’s long-standing convector technology. According to Rudy Ballegeer, Jaga Academy Coordinator, the system operates at heating temperatures as low as 35°C and provides cooling without condensation, eliminating the need for a condensate drain.
With a width of just 41 cm and a height range of 90 to 290 cm, the Vertilina Hybrid is designed for tight spaces such as hallways in townhouses. It delivers heating capacity from 1,771 to 8,922 watts and cooling capacity from 273 to 1,320 watts, offering a compact alternative to traditional radiators without compromising performance.
The launch reflects a broader industry shift toward heat pumps and water-based systems, as stricter regulations on refrigerants phase out conventional air conditioning solutions.
