Tripwire Interactive has launched the second season of content and rewards for Killing Floor 3, the cooperative first-person shooter that initially released on July 24, 2025, for PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The new season, titled “Operation: Breakout,” is now available across all platforms and plunges players into the treacherous jungles of Costa Rica, where a dangerous enemy has escaped confinement.
The update introduces the Stalker Zed, a stealth-focused enemy type, alongside the “Prison” map – the first new playable environment added to the game. Players will also gain access to DJ Scully, a popular specialist character, and a new primary weapon, the KV Recluse SMG. This content expansion arrives as the gaming industry continues to explore innovative approaches to sustained engagement through seasonal updates.
Alongside the new content, Tripwire Interactive is offering a new Supply Pass featuring 100 levels of both free and premium cosmetic rewards.
