Kim Kardashian recently underwent neurological testing as part of her reality show, *”The Kardashians,”* revealing unexpected results regarding her brain activity. The findings, shared during a November 27th episode, came alongside a separate health concern disclosed earlier this month – the revelation of a long-standing brain aneurysm.
Dr. Daniel Amen’s assessment indicated areas of low activity in Kardashian’s frontal lobes, possibly linked to the significant stress of her law school studies and personal life.
Kim Kardashian learned she has “low brain activity” following a new scan featured in a recent episode of “The Kardashians.”
In Thursday’s episode, airing November 27th, the 45-year-old reality star underwent the scan alongside Scott Disick.
“Scott and I are getting our brains scanned today with Dr. Daniel Amen. He does these brain scans to really see what’s going on with your brain health,” Kardashian explained in Season 7, Episode 6.
Dr. Amen previously appeared on “The Kardashians” in 2022, scanning the brains of Khloé Kardashian and Kendall Jenner. The doctor has become a well-known figure for his use of brain imaging diagnostics.
“I have a beautiful brain. I’ve been told that before,” Kardashian said.
Dr. Amen confirmed she wasn’t at high risk for Alzheimer’s disease. The scan showed Kardashian “is not terribly stressed, anxious, or depressed.”
He added, “You are remarkably positive.”
However, despite the positive news, he also noted some areas showing “low activity.”
“The front part of your brain is less active than it should be. With your frontal lobes in their current state, you’ll have a harder time dealing with stress, and that’s not good for you, especially while you’re studying and preparing for the bar,” he explained.
“That just can’t be true. I don’t accept that,” Kardashian responded.
Dr. Amen added that the results could be linked to “chronic stress” stemming from her studies for the California bar exam. He suggested a plan to manage her stress levels.
“I need to come up with a strategy because I have a lot going on this summer,” she said, according to People.
In a November 20th episode, Kardashian revealed to her sister Kourtney that doctors had discovered an aneurysm in her brain.
“I did a Prenuvo scan and they called me today and said, ‘Everything looks great, but you have an aneurysm in your brain.’ They said it’s been there for years,” she shared.
Following the news, Kardashian contacted neurosurgeon Keith Black.
“I sent him the pictures and he said, ‘I want you to come in for further imaging.’ I asked him if I could wait and what makes an aneurysm rupture. And they said, ‘Stress,’” she continued.
The “All’s Fair” star attributed the stress to preparing for the bar exam and the aftermath of her 2022 divorce from ex-husband Kanye West (Ye). This latest health revelation comes as Kardashian continues to pursue her legal ambitions, adding another layer to her already public life.
