Amy Adams will star in Kornél Mundruczó’s new film, At the Sea, which is set to premiere at the 76th Berlin International Film Festival, according to Filmtett.ro. The film centers on a woman returning to her family home in Cape Cod after rehabilitation, where she’s forced to confront a deeply buried trauma and question her identity outside of her dance career.
Joining Adams in key roles are Murray Bartlett, Chloe East, Brett Goldstein, and Dan Levy. Mundruczó co-wrote the screenplay with Kata Wéber. Viktória Petrányi produces alongside Mundruczó, and Yorick Le Saux—known for his work on films like Jim Jarmusch’s Only Lovers Left Alive, Greta Gerwig’s Little Women, and Claire Denis’ High Life—serves as the cinematographer. Dávid Jancsó is the film’s editor.
