Klaipėda, Lithuania – An 11-year-old social media influencer has captured a major award at the “Vaikų mylimiausi 2025” (Children’s Favorites 2025) awards ceremony held Saturday at the Klaipėda Švyturio Arena. Rusnė Šerkšnienė, known online as Curlygirly, received the “Favorite Content Creator” award after launching her Instagram profile just six months prior and quickly gaining over 13,000 followers. The win highlights the growing influence of young creators and the evolving digital landscape for children’s entertainment.
Kristina Šerkšnienė is beaming with pride after her 11-year-old daughter, Rusnė, took home a major award for her blossoming online presence.
“I want to say something, but I’m just lost for words… Yesterday was an incredibly special day for our whole family. The emotions were dancing a real tango!” Šerkšnienė shared.
The family is “endlessly happy and proud” of Rusnė, who launched her Instagram profile in mid-June and quickly amassed over 13,000 followers, culminating in the impressive win. The rise of young content creators continues to reshape the entertainment landscape.

The entire Šerkšnienė family attended the event at the Klaipėda Švyturio Arena on Saturday, with Kristina and her husband Andrius, along with their daughters Ūla and Rusnė, posing for photographers.
At the ceremony, Rusnė, better known to social media followers as Curlygirly, confidently took to the stage to accept her well-deserved award.

Event organizers previously announced that Rusnė competed against Andrius Talžūnas and Edvinas Malakauskas for the “Favorite Content Creator” award.
The children voted, and their hearts belonged to K. Šerkšnienė’s daughter on Saturday evening.
