The ongoing global memory crisis continues to drive up prices for computer components, including RAM, SSDs, and graphics cards. While expansion of production capacity offers a glimmer of hope for price stabilization next year, the upward trend is expected to persist throughout 2026.

All-in-One PC Defies Price Trends with Record Low

Amidst rising costs for gaming PCs, laptops, and other systems, the Lenovo IdeaCentre All in One 27IRH9 F0HM00MXGE is bucking the trend with a significant price drop. This space-saving all-in-one PC, designed for everyday employ rather than gaming, offers a compelling combination of performance and affordability.

The PC was initially available on Amazon in September for €999, but prices climbed to over €1,250 as the memory crisis intensified. By late January, the price remained in that higher range. But, as of recently, Amazon is offering the system for €979.99 – its lowest price to date, according to price tracker Keepa.

32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD

The Lenovo IdeaCentre All in One 27IRH9 F0HM00MXGE is powered by an Intel Core i7-240H processor, featuring 10 cores (6 P-cores and 4 E-cores) and 16 threads. This processor is effectively a faster refresh of the Core i7-13620H, with a turbo clock speed of 5.2 GHz instead of 4.9 GHz. The Core i7-240H’s processing power is comparable to that of the Ryzen 5 7600 desktop processor.

The CPU is paired with 32GB of 5200MHz DDR5 RAM, configured as two SODIMMs. Comparable kits, such as the Crucial CT2K16G56C46S5, currently cost around €400. The system as well includes a 1TB PCI-Express 4.0 x4 SSD, which is not specifically detailed but is comparable in price to the Biwin Black Opal NV7400 1TB, which currently sells for around €120. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed.

27-inch WQHD Monitor, 2x HDMI, 4x USB, Wifi 6 and More

The 27-inch monitor features an IPS panel with a WQHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a brightness of up to 350 nits, with an anti-glare coating. While some all-in-one PCs feature touchscreens, this model does not. The monitor covers 99% of the sRGB color space and can receive video signals from another source via HDMI 1.4. Integrated Harman speakers deliver a total of 6 watts of audio output. A 5MP webcam with infrared functionality is integrated into the top of the display.

Connectivity options include 1x USB-C (10 Gbps), 1x USB-A (10 Gbps), 2x USB 2.0-A, 1x HDMI 2.1 TMDS (output), 1x RJ-45 Gigabit LAN, 1x 3.5mm audio combo jack, and a port for the 135W power adapter. The all-in-one PC supports wireless communication via Wifi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. A card reader is not included, but a card reader with USB-A, USB-C, micro(SD)-, MS- and CF-functionality is available for a few euros. Mouse and keyboard are included.
