Cotonou, Benin, is set to play host to the penultimate stage of Les Nouveaux Boss, a pan-African entrepreneurial competition gaining international attention for its focus on supporting innovative buisness ventures.This Friday, ten entrepreneurs from Cameroon, Benin, Senegal, and Togo will pitch their ideas to a panel of experts as the television program narrows its field toward a Grand Finale later in January. Les Nouveaux Boss, created by TV5MONDE and WeMake Productions, aims to provide visibility and mentorship to Africa’s rising entrepreneurial talent, with the ultimate prize being the chance to secure investment from an international panel.
Cotonou, Benin, will host the final selection round for contestants on the television program Les Nouveaux Boss on Friday, December 26th. The competition, which aims to highlight and support African entrepreneurs, is nearing its climax as mentors prepare to choose the final participants.

On Friday, Les Nouveaux Boss will arrive in Cotonou, the economic capital and largest city in Benin. Ten candidates from Cameroon, Benin, Senegal, and Togo will present their business ventures to mentor Claude Borna and two local experts, Raodath Aminou and Christian Jekinnou.
The projects showcased in this episode span a diverse range of sectors, including agro-food, cosmetics, cybersecurity, and digital technologies, reflecting the innovative spirit of a new generation of African entrepreneurs.
Following the presentations, only four candidates will receive a coveted “pass” granting them access to the next stage of the competition. They will join the twelve finalists already selected during previous rounds held in Côte d’Ivoire (episode 1), Morocco (episode 2), and the Democratic Republic of Congo (episode 3).
The selected entrepreneurs will then move to La Station, an entrepreneurial residence located in Grand-Béréby, Côte d’Ivoire, where they will undergo intensive training with mentors and industry leaders in preparation for the Grand Finale in late January.
A Panel of Beninese Experts
The final selection stage will be led by Claude Borna, an intrapreneur and innovator who also serves as the Director General of the Sèmè City Development Agency, an organization dedicated to fostering innovation and creativity in the region.
Joining Borna is Raodath Aminou, founder of the Entourage mentorship platform, which connects African experts with project leaders. Christian Jekinnou, founder of Fanaka&Co, a firm specializing in innovation and growth strategies for startups and established businesses, will complete the expert panel.
