Former boy band member Lee Moo is making an unconventional travel plan after repeated flight cancellations left his family stranded in Dubai. According to reports, Lee Moo announced on March 2nd that his flight had been canceled again, but flights to Oman remain available.
“This morning at 6 a.m. I received a message from Air China saying the flight was canceled again, but the flight to Oman hasn’t been canceled yet,” Lee Moo said in a video statement. “So I’ve decided to temporarily rent a car that can cross borders and drive to Oman.”
Lee Moo and his wife, Heonjae, have been stuck in Dubai due to ongoing disruptions at the airport caused by escalating conflict in the Middle East, which has led to widespread flight cancellations. He previously shared his desire to return home in a video posted on March 1st, stating, “I want to go home.”
The couple’s travel woes began while on vacation in Dubai when airport operations were impacted by missile debris. As of March 2nd, Heonjae reported on social media that they had successfully crossed into Oman. This incident highlights the challenges travelers are facing amid regional instability, and the lengths people will go to in order to return home.
Lee Moo rose to fame as a member of the South Korean boy band “U-KISS” before transitioning to an acting career.
