Lisa Rinna:
Nearly three decades after they first became a couple, reality star Lisa Rinna and actor Harry Hamlin are approaching their 30th wedding anniversary. Despite their long history, speculation about their relationship continues.
After nearly three decades of speculation, reality television star Lisa Rinna is finally addressing long-running rumors surrounding her marriage in her new book.
The 62-year-old, known for her time on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” is directly confronting the persistent rumors about her husband, Harry Hamlin, 74.
In her new book, “You Better Believe I’m Gonna Talk About It,” released on February 24, Rinna doesn’t hold back.
“Let’s just clear this up once and for all: Harry is heterosexual,” Rinna wrote, according to Page Six. “He is not a gay man in any way, shape, or form, not that there’s anything wrong with that,” she continued.
Rinna explained that she hadn’t encountered the rumors until joining “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” in 2014, when they began circulating among fans of the popular present.
“I just thought people were saying whatever they could to provoke me, so it never really bothered me,” she wrote.
She as well pointed out that her husband wasn’t the only one subjected to the speculation. “All of the husbands’ sexuality was questioned at some point in that show,” she claims.
“When you’re a handsome man in Hollywood with good style, the conclusion is ‘is he gay?’” the star rhetorically asked.
Hamlin played a gay character in the 1982 film “Making Love,” and Rinna claims he was “blacklisted for years” afterward.
The couple married in 1997 and share two daughters, Delilah Belle (27) and Amelia Gray (24).
“I would be shocked if I ever found out he was having an affair,” Rinna concludes in the book.
