Asobism, a Japanese game developer, today launched its new real-time strategy (RTS) game, Live Hard, Die Hard, on iOS and Android platforms. The title uniquely blends combat with medical management, offering players a tense experience of battlefield tactics and critical healthcare decisions.

Four-Week Challenge: Combining Base Management and Real-Time Tactics

Live Hard, Die Hard places players in the role of a commander facing an alien threat. The game operates on a weekly cycle, requiring players to alternate between “base” and “battle” segments with the ultimate goal of building the strongest possible team and destroying the core target, “Terminal Core,” within four weeks. This structure reflects a growing trend in mobile gaming towards more strategic and long-term gameplay.

Within the base, commanders manage troop status and enhance abilities through “treatment, dissection, and reinforcement.” The battle segments then test players’ ability to issue strategic commands and provide medical support quickly and accurately. Success hinges on cultivating an elite force through strategic intuition.

Mobile Launch Celebration: Limited-Time Offer for 3 Days

To celebrate the mobile launch, Asobism is offering a limited-time discount on the App Store and Google Play. The game, normally priced at 750 Japanese Yen (approximately $157 USD), is available for 500 Japanese Yen (approximately $105 USD) during the promotional period.

The offer is valid for three days, ending February 8, 2026, at 11:59 PM JST. Players interested in the unique “combat x medical” RTS experience are encouraged to take advantage of the discount.
