Małgorzata Potocka Performed a Split on “Dancing with the Stars.” Here’s Who Was in the Audience
Małgorzata Potocka began preparations for “Dancing with the Stars” several weeks ago, and made her debut on the dance floor on the first Sunday of March. Alongside Mieszko Masłowski, the actress performed an energetic cha-cha.
Unfortunately, the pair’s routine, number 4, didn’t impress the judges, who scored it just 24 points, placing them last in the standings (tied with Piotr Kędzierski and Magdalena Tarnowska). However, everyone appreciated the fact that the 72-year-old performed a split on stage.

Potocka isn’t discouraged. “I treat participation in the program as an adventure, and her adult daughters and grandchildren are rooting for her,” she said. Her daughter, Weronika Ciechowska, who has lived permanently in the United States for years, even sat in the audience during the premiere episode.
In an interview with Pomponik, Ms. Potocka revealed how their relationship is going. People didn’t recognize…
Ciechowski’s Daughter Appeared in the “Dancing with the Stars” Audience. The Actress Immediately Denied Rumors: “There’s No Way”
Małgorzata Potocka has two daughters: 48-year-old Matylda, from her marriage to artist and photographer Józef Robakowski, and 39-year-old Weronika, from a relationship with Grzegorz Ciechowski.
The first lives in Poland with her son, Tadeusz, while the second moved to the USA several years ago, where she started a family (with a husband and two sons). She flew in specifically to support her mother on “Dancing with the Stars.”
“Weronika works, has two… [loved ones – ed’s note], so there’s no way she’ll be in the audience every week. She’s flying out tonight, but my other daughter, Matylda, and her son, Tadeusz, will be here the whole time, which is fantastic for me… And various friends, extended family, and acquaintances will be supporting me,” Potocka told Pomponik.
The actress as well spoke about her relationship with her younger daughter. Despite the distance, the two are quite close.

The most important thing for them, of course, is regular in-person meetings.
“We have a system for that. … Planes are getting more and more expensive, but we meet every three months. Either I go there, or she flies here. She’ll be flying in May, so she’ll be here again [on ‘Dancing with the Stars’] if I last that long in the program, and if I don’t last, we’ll just come as guests…,” she told our reporter.
But that’s not all. Małgorzata and Weronika often call each other and even share everyday moments.
“It’s not hard at all. It’s just sad that you can’t hug. Weronika calls me about twice a day: when she wakes up and when she comes home from or goes to work. She’s constantly on video throughout the house. We all sit together and have dinner or just talk, or I turn on the same movie as them, [and we watch it together],” Potocka told Pomponik.
It’s clear that over the years, the actress has figured out this “long-distance relationship” and found a way to maintain a bond with someone close to her. She believes the internet is a wonderful tool that “shortens distances.”
“Dancing with the Stars” airs every Sunday at 7:55 PM on Polsat and on Polsat Box Go.
