Seville: A Special Place for Manuel Carrasco Fans

The artist chose Seville to commemorate a milestone in his career. “It’s been ten years since my first stadium concert, which was in Seville,” Carrasco recalled, reflecting on his journey from that initial performance during his ‘Bailar el Viento’ tour to later shows at the Metropolitano, Bernabéu, and Villamarín stadiums. The announcement underscores Seville’s importance as a key location for the artist and his devoted fanbase.

Carrasco’s upcoming tour, titled ‘Salvaje desde la Raíz’ (Wild from the Root), will be exclusive to Seville. “It’s an idea I had, a bit of a whim, but it seems incredible to me,” he explained. Each concert will have a distinct theme – ‘Viento Salvaje’ (Wild Wind), ‘La Cruz Salvaje’ (Wild Cross), ‘Corazón Salvaje’ (Wild Heart), and ‘Pueblo Salvaje’ (Wild People) – corresponding to his most iconic albums and live performances. He promises each show will be unique, with different aesthetics, visuals, and a setlist that revisits songs he doesn’t typically perform.

“There will be a connection between all of them,” Carrasco said of the four performances. “There are important songs, hits that I will sing. But it’s true that they are going to be different because each one will take us back to that time. There will be an aesthetic, visuals, a stage… To take us to a time where I will rescue songs that I don’t usually sing, from those specific albums.”

Carrasco emphasized the special connection he has with the city. “The idea is crazy. It wasn’t an idea we could take across all of Spain. It was in Seville because that’s where we reached the ten-year milestone and the location has all the characteristics. Seville has been a place of pilgrimage for all my audience who have accompanied me throughout my career. It will be, I think, the best thing I’ve ever done,” he admitted.
