This move comes after the singer was arrested on March 4 for driving while intoxicated. Following the arrest, Spears was taken into police custody before being released on bail. The incident prompted a response from her representative, who described the event as an “unforgivable” mistake. “Britney is taking the right steps and will abide by the law, and hopefully, this can be the first step toward the long-awaited changes in her life. I believe that in this difficult time she will be able to receive the necessary help and support,” the representative stated. Further details regarding the arrest emerged via TMZ, which reported that police took the artist to a hospital for blood tests to determine her alcohol level and ensure no narcotics were used.
