Mon Laferte made a striking appearance at Paris Fashion Week Menswear 2026-2027, kicking off a show for American designer Willy Chavarría.
The Chilean singer-songwriter surprised attendees at the high-fashion event, which runs through Sunday in the French capital, with a special performance.
Laferte’s brief set drew inspiration from her latest album and stage show, “Femme Fatale,” a project that celebrates the iconic female archetype as a symbol of strength and independence, while acknowledging vulnerability. The performance underscored the growing trend of blending music and fashion at major industry events.
During the menswear presentation (autumn-winter 2026-2027), Chavarría unveiled his “Eterno” collection, a showcase that combined fashion, theater, and live music.
Laferte performed “Femme Fatale,” the title track from her critically acclaimed 2025 album, as the opening act. The album was recognized by the Spanish-language edition of Rolling Stone as one of the 50 best Spanish-language albums of last year.
Laferte didn’t just sing and perform for the audience; she also walked the runway, as documented in event footage. Her presence didn’t go unnoticed, with the French edition of Vogue, a leading voice in the fashion world, highlighting her participation.
Mon Laferte is also set to headline the upcoming Festival de Viña del Mar 2026. She will take the stage at Quinta Vergara on Thursday, February 26 (the penultimate night of the festival), alongside comedian Piare con P and a symphonic performance by reggaeton artist Yandel.
