In 2025, Dacia and Renault continued to dominate the city car segment in Morocco, as expected. Opel Corsa closely followed, with over 6,000 units sold, maintaining its position as a key player in this category.

For the second consecutive year, the Škoda Octavia led the compact car segment, historically dominated by the Renault Mégane. Citroën C4 and Toyota Corolla, in both hatchback and sedan versions, also demonstrated strong performance.
Sales Ranking / Family Cars
In a segment typically led by premium brands, the Škoda Superb secured a place on the podium. At the close of 2025, Mercedes-Benz C-Class topped the rankings, while BMW Series 3 remained in third place. The decline of the Audi A4 is attributed to its discontinuation in favor of the latest Audi A5.
Sales Ranking / Urban SUVs
With over 3,600 units sold in 2025, the VW T-Roc continued to lead the urban SUV segment with a significant lead over its competitors. The Toyota Yaris Cross climbed to second place and the Nissan Magnite quickly established itself in this competitive segment.

Dacia Duster and Hyundai Tucson continued to dominate this segment, favored by Moroccan customers, driven by the strong tourism sector in Morocco in 2025, where rental companies were potential buyers. The VW Tiguan performed significantly better than in 2024, with growth approaching 75%.
Sales Ranking / Family SUVs
2025 saw a notable newcomer! The BYD SEAL-U (in its plug-in hybrid version) strongly appealed to Moroccan consumers with its technology, spaciousness, and competitive pricing. It logically took the lead in this segment, well ahead of its rivals: the Škoda Kodiaq and the Audi Q5.
Sales Ranking / Full Hybrid Vehicles
Within the hybrid vehicle segment, the Hyundai Tucson overtook the Yaris Cross. Toyota, the historical leader, continues to dominate this segment overall.
Sales Ranking / Plug-in Hybrid Vehicles
With over 3,000 units sold, the BYD SEAL-U led sales of plug-in hybrid vehicles. DFSK E5 achieved strong performance thanks to its unique value for money. The SOUEAST S06 also performed well, despite being introduced to the Moroccan market only during the second half of 2025!
Sales Ranking / Electric Vehicles
Arriving in the Moroccan market in March 2025, the BYD SEAGULL took the top spot, previously held by the Dacia Spring. The Volvo EX30 attracted over 180 buyers, and the SEALION 7, another BYD model, completed the podium!
