Suzuki will begin marketing the fresh version of the V-Strom 250SX in Japan starting March 5, 2026. The primary update is the availability of the small trail bike in a new color scheme, dubbed Pearl Fresh Blue/Glass Sparkle Black, for Japanese enthusiasts.
The Suzuki V-Strom 250 SX 2026 will be offered in the Japanese market in three different color options: Champion Yellow No. 2/Glass Sparkle Black, Pearl Fresh Blue/Glass Sparkle Black, and Glass Pearl Black. The font used for the “SX” lettering has also been redesigned.

The compact trail bike is equipped with a 249 cc, air and oil-cooled, four-valve SOHC single-cylinder engine featuring Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP) technology. According to the company, this technology enhances performance at lower revolutions. This engine is also used in the Gixxer 250/SF and is known for its reliability and ease of handling. Suzuki states the engine produces 26 horsepower at 9300 rpm and peak torque of 21.5 Nm at 7300 rpm.
The V-Strom 250SX features the iconic “beak” design and a large LED headlight. The front wheel is 19 inches in diameter, while the rear wheel is 17 inches. The tires (100/90-19 and 140/70-17) have a pronounced tread pattern, despite the bike being primarily designed for on-road employ. The total weight of the bike is 167 kg with a full 12-liter fuel tank. The seat height is 835 mm.
In the Japanese market, the Suzuki V-Strom 250SX 2026 is available starting at 599,500 yen, which is approximately 3,200 euros. This pricing positions the V-Strom 250SX as a competitive option within the entry-level adventure motorcycle segment.
