A packed house at the Posthof’s large hall in Linz on November 16, 2025, saw German rapper OG Keemo deliver a high-energy performance, supported by Boondawg.

The Posthof was buzzing on Sunday, with a seemingly endless line for the coat check. The crowd was young and predominantly male, with a clear dress code: steer clear of bright colors!

Boondawg

The evening kicked off with a dynamic set from Boondawg. The Düsseldorf-based rapper energetically bounced across the stage, immediately captivating the audience. The large hall quickly filled as his energy transferred to the crowd, creating an electric atmosphere. Behind him, the word “KULT” was projected in large letters. “KULT” represents more than just the name of his 2024 mixtape; it embodies a movement, a shift in multiple areas – music, aesthetics, style, and mindset.

OG Keemo

Personal space was at a premium as fans packed into the Posthof’s large hall. Securing a good spot meant potentially skipping bathroom or drink breaks during the intermission following Boondawg’s set. Anticipation built as the pause music faded, a thick fog filled the stage, and the intro track began to play. The curtain fell, revealing a stunning mountain backdrop. And then, emerging from the mist, OG Keemo took the stage.

Born in Mainz in 1993 with Sudanese roots, OG Keemo has become a defining figure in German-language hip-hop. He was joined on stage, as always, by producer Funkvater Frank. Keemo’s sound blends trap influences with atmospheric storytelling and a restrained yet powerful delivery. His discography includes albums like Geist (2019), Mann beißt Hund (2022), and Fieber (2024). The mountain scenery proved a perfect complement to his cinematic style, a hallmark of his artistry.

The 180° Tour isn’t tied to a single album; instead, it’s a celebration of the rapper, his producer, and their fans’ personal favorites. Hits like Geist, Fiesling, and Vorwort had the crowd rapping along word-for-word, demonstrating the artist’s strong connection with his fanbase. This tour highlights Keemo’s growing influence within the German hip-hop scene.

Lost and Found

The crowd was a whirlwind of energy. Mosh pits opened up, concert tickets were transformed into banners, and at least one concertgoer lost a shoe in the excitement. While some were lost in the dancing and sweat, others were captivated by the mesmerizing light show. A surprise guest appearance came from fellow rapper KWAM.E, who joined Keemo on stage twice, including a performance of their track Hustler.

Keemo repeatedly praised the Linz crowd, commenting on how great it was to perform in the city. This wasn’t his first time in the Upper Austrian capital – fans will remember his performance at Lido in 2024! Ultimately, the happy, sweaty faces of the fans spoke volumes about the success of the show.
