Gamze Özçelik Returns to Screen in New Turkish Naval Drama “Operasyon Alesta” After years away from acting, Gamze Özçelik is making her comeback in the new television series “Operasyon Alesta,” which began filming with a table read held aboard the Turkish warship TCG İstanbul. The series, backed by the Ministry of National Defense and the Naval Forces Command, follows the intense missions of Turkish naval personnel stationed in Africa. Özçelik will portray Zeynep, a Turkish engineer serving aboard the vessel, marking her first major role since stepping back from the spotlight years ago. The table read took place on the TCG İstanbul, where the cast gathered for the first time to run through the script.
