Bordeaux’s arts scene is set to heat up on Wednesday, February 25th, with a diverse lineup of performances, and exhibitions. The evening begins at the TnBA with the opening of a performative installation by Chaz El Charif, running from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Hall Vitez vitrine. Following the installation, at 7:30 PM, the doors will open for a public performance of “Taire” by Tamara Al Saadi.

Too beginning at 7:30 PM, Avant-postes (located at 3 rue Beyssac) will host an evening of performances featuring Luci, Fantin Lebrun, and Pillow Pill. Simultaneously, a collective exhibition showcasing the function of Gian Baudin, Manolly Chiavaccini, Candide Doridant, and Alevtyna Nykoniuk will also open. This exhibition will remain on display through Thursday, March 12th.

The events promise a vibrant showcase of contemporary art and performance, adding to Bordeaux’s reputation as a cultural hub. Al Saadi, notably, is an artist associated with both the Théâtre des Quartiers d’Ivry – CDN and the Théâtre Dijon Bourgogne – CDN since 2021, and is currently in a compagnonnage at the Théâtre Joliette in Marseille and associated with the Théâtre national de Bordeaux en Aquitaine – CDN since January 2024, as detailed on the TNBA website.
