Persija Jakarta mounted a second-half comeback to defeat Persik Kediri 3-1 in a Super League contest on Thursday, November 20, 2025. The Jakarta-based club benefited from a red card issued to a member of their opposition.
Playing as the home side, Persija Jakarta welcomed Persik Kediri to Manahan Stadium in Solo. Persija entered the match riding a four-game winning streak, while Persik had been unable to secure a victory in the same period.

Persik struck first just before halftime, with Ezra Walian converting a free kick in the 43rd minute to give his side a 1-0 lead.
The start of the second half was delayed due to heavy rain, but Persija emerged with renewed energy. Their comeback gained significant momentum when Telmo Castanheira received a red card in the 50th minute. Eksel Runtukahu leveled the score at 1-1 in the 60th minute.
Just eleven minutes later, in the 71st minute, Persija took the lead through a goal from Maxwell. Witan Sulaeman extended the advantage to 3-1 with a goal in the 78th minute.
Persija controlled the remainder of the match, securing a decisive victory. The three points solidify their position in second place in the Liga Indonesia standings with 26 points from 12 matches.
Persik remains in 13th place with 12 points. The result continues Persija’s winning run while extending Persik’s winless streak.
