Jakarta residents will see lower prices at the pump starting January 1, 2026, as state-owned oil and gas company PT Pertamina (Persero) implements new pricing for non-subsidized fuels. The price adjustments, announced late Wednesday, represent a decrease for popular gasoline brands like Pertamax and Pertamax Turbo, as well as diesel fuels Dexlite and Pertamina Dex. Subsidized fuels, Pertalite and Solar Subsidi, will maintain their current prices, according to the company’s statement referencing recent regulatory decrees.
Jakarta, PT Pertamina (Persero) announced today, December 31, 2025, that it will implement new fuel prices effective January 1, 2026. The state-owned oil and gas company will be lowering prices for non-subsidized fuel products, according to an official statement released late Wednesday by Pertamina Patra Niaga.
The price adjustments will be most noticeable in the Jakarta metropolitan area. Pertamax, a popular non-subsidized gasoline, will be reduced to Rp 12,350 per liter, down from Rp 12,750 per liter in December 2025. Pertamax Turbo will also see a price decrease, falling to Rp 13,400 per liter from Rp 13,750 per liter last month.
Further adjustments include a reduction in the price of Pertamax Green 95 to Rp 13,150 per liter, compared to Rp 13,500 per liter in December 2025. Dexlite, a diesel fuel, will be priced at Rp 13,500 per liter, a significant drop from Rp 14,700 per liter previously.
Pertamina Dex will also be cheaper, priced at Rp 13,600 per liter, down from Rp 15,000 per liter. Importantly, subsidized fuels such as Solar Subsidi and Pertalite (RON 90) will maintain their current prices of Rp 6,800 per liter and Rp 10,000 per liter, respectively.
“Pertamina is adjusting prices for general fuel oil (BBM) in order to implement the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Decree No. 245.K/MG.01/MEM.M/2022 as an amendment to Decree No. 62 K/12/MEM/2020 concerning the Basic Price Formula in Calculating the Retail Selling Price of General Fuel Oil Type Gasoline and Diesel Fuel Distributed Through General Fuel Filling Stations,” the company stated Wednesday evening.

Pertalite: Rp 10,000 per liter (no change)
Solar Subsidi: Rp 6,800 per liter (no change)
Pertamax (RON 92): Rp 12,350 per liter (down from Rp 12,750 per liter)
