Princeville, Quebec – A volleyball tournament held on Saturday, February 7, raised $7,046 for the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation, exceeding its $6,500 goal.

The second annual “Pink Tournament” was organized by Lise Blais and Philippe Bergeron, building on an initiative launched by Blais following her own battle with cancer. The event aimed to give back to the organizations that provided her with support during treatment, demonstrating a growing trend of individuals leveraging personal experiences to drive philanthropic efforts.

Eight teams participated in the tournament, providing entertainment for attendees. Funds were raised through online donations, raffle ticket sales, team registration fees, and on-site contributions.

The organizing committee – comprised of Lise Blais, Philippe Bergeron, Michel Turgeon, Luc Traversy, David Morin, and François Aubre – expressed pride in the outcome.

The success of the event was supported by numerous partners who contributed over 25 prizes.
