Police in West Java province are continuing their search for Muhammad Adimas Firdaus Putra Nasihan, known online as Resbob, a YouTube streamer accused of hate speech. Authorities say they are closing in on the suspect following reports of offensive content targeting the Sundanese ethnic group.
Investigators have identified an address for Resbob in East Jakarta and have made contact with his parents.
“Our team has been tracking several locations, and the first address we obtained was in Jakarta,” said West Java Police Public Relations Head Commissioner Hendra Rochmawan, according to reports Monday, December 15, 2025. “We visited his home and spoke with his parents.”

The search for Resbob has extended beyond Jakarta, with police teams dispatched to Surabaya and Pasuruan. Reports indicate Resbob is a student in Surabaya.
In Surabaya, officers interviewed Resbob’s girlfriend, who informed them that he had fled to the Central Java region.
“According to investigators, the suspect has moved westward, toward Central Java,” Hendra stated.
