Capcom’s sci-fi action-adventure, PRAGMATA, is slated for release on April 24, 2026, and will now include the next-generation Nintendo console among its supported platforms. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch 2, and PC, with a demo already available for PC players—a strong indication the project is nearing completion.

Capcom announced that PRAGMATA, a hacking-focused action-adventure title, will launch on April 24, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch 2, and PC via Steam. The Switch 2 version was recently added to the list of supported platforms, while a console demo is planned for a later date. This release comes as developers increasingly explore innovative gameplay mechanics within the sci-fi genre.

The standard edition of the game will retail for $59.99, with a Deluxe Edition available for $69.99. The Deluxe Edition includes the “Shelter Variety Pack,” offering alternative cosmetic outfits for Hugh and Diana, a weapon skin, Diana emotes, additional background music for the Shelter, and a digital artbook featuring 75 pieces of artwork. Capcom is also planning a Diana amiibo figure.

PRAGMATA represents Capcom’s newest intellectual property, a completely original sci-fi action-adventure game built around a unique hacking-based gameplay system. The story unfolds in the near future on the Moon, following an unlikely duo as they attempt to escape a lunar facility controlled by a hostile station AI. Players will control both Hugh Williams, a “spacefarer” sent to investigate the research station, and Diana, a mysterious android, utilizing their distinct abilities in tandem throughout a single-player campaign.

According to Capcom, Hugh finds himself in a chilling scenario: the lunar station appears eerily deserted, devoid of any human presence, yet far from empty. An antagonistic AI maintains control of the facility, deploying Bots to “neutralize” intruders. The pair must collaborate to overcome obstacles, including formidable boss encounters.

Central to the game’s mechanics is the fusion of hacking and shooting. Diana can breach enemy systems, exposing vulnerabilities, allowing Hugh to capitalize with a diverse arsenal of weapons. Developers say this hacking-shooting dynamic will evolve throughout the game, delivering a fast-paced, tactical experience where player choices directly impact combat.

Movement also relies on cooperation: Hugh’s drive allows for dashes and hovering, while Diana can bypass security systems, solve puzzles, and clear obstacles blocking the path. The weapon selection ranges from high-damage options to tactical and defensive tools, such as shields and decoys, with Hugh’s equipment upgradeable as the game progresses.

The Shelter serves as the hub for customization, where players can use resources gathered from battles and hidden collectibles to unlock weapons and upgrades, enhance Diana’s hacking abilities, and experience more intimate moments between the characters. Once equipped, players return to the station to face the next challenge.
