HBO Releases Trailer for New Comedy Series ‘I Love LA’
HBO unveiled the first trailer today for its upcoming comedy series, “I Love LA,” created by and starring Rachel Sennott.
The series follows an ambitious group of friends navigating life and love in Los Angeles. Starring alongside Sennott are Jordan Firstman as Charlie, Josh Hutcherson as Dylan, Odessa A’zion as Tallulah, and True Whitaker as Alani. Guest appearances include Leighton Meester, Moses Ingram, Elijah Wood, and others. Sennott’s character, Maia, delivers lines like “Luck is just when preparation meets opportunity” and “Hustle until your idols become your rivals,” hinting at the show’s sharp wit.
“I Love LA” is executive produced by Sennott, alongside Emma Barrie, Aida Rodgers, Max Silvestri, and Lorene Scafaria, with directing credits shared by Sennott, Scafaria, Bill Benz, and Kevin Bray. The show’s premiere on November 2nd marks a significant addition to HBO’s comedy lineup, which has seen increased viewership in recent years, according to Statista.
The eight-episode series will debut on HBO on Sunday, November 2nd at 10:30 pm, and will be available for streaming on HBO Max. New episodes will be released weekly, culminating in the finale on December 21st.
