Mumbai: Bollywood star Ranveer Singh received a threat via WhatsApp, prompting increased security measures at his housing complex in central Mumbai.
The threat comes just days after a shooting incident outside the residence of filmmaker Rohit Shetty. Police believe the Lawrence Bishnoi gang may be behind the threat against the “Dhuranhar” star. The crime branch has launched an investigation.
The shooting at filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s home in Juhu occurred earlier this week, with Shubham Longer, a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang currently at large, claiming responsibility. Five individuals have been arrested in connection with the case.
